    Day 1: Arrive in Kathmandu.

It’s a long trip, but we made it! Arrive late and settle into our hotel to sleep off some jet lag.

  • Multiple colorful boats anchored on a calm lake in Pokhara with mountains in the background during sunset.

Day 2: Explore Kathmandu & Fly to Pokhara

Wander through the winding streets of Kathmandu, discovering hidden stupas and colorful shrines. Fly to Pokhara, then enjoy a lake walk and a fresh dinner with views.

  • People hiking on a narrow suspension bridge in a lush green mountainous area

Day 3: Start our 8-day Trek

Enjoy a 5-star breakfast before heading to our starting point in Nayapul. Trek past flowering villages and green hills, cross a prayer-flag-draped suspension bridge, and climb stairs to our teahouse with views of Mt. Annapurna.

  • A lone hiker standing on a grassy hill with a snow-capped mountain in the background, under a clear blue sky.

Days 4 - 10: Trekking to Khopra Ridge

Follow foot trails winding through old-growth Rhododendron forests filled with monkeys, tropical birds, and hidden jungle waterfalls. Watch dawn break over the highest peaks in the world, visit a sacred lake at the roof of the world, and immerse yourself in nature and the present moment in a way only possible when you’re outside of cell service. We’ll stay at teahouses along the way where you’ll have delicious homecooked food, a shared twin room, and a shower (some will be rustic, but there’s hot water!). We will also be supported by experienced porters and an amazing local female guide. This is going to be a challenge but one you can absolutely meet, and then we’ll end with a well-deserved soak in a local natural hot spring.

  • A tall traditional pagoda-style temple with multiple tiers in Bhaktapur.

Day 11: Pokhara to Bhaktapur & Home

Enjoy a slow morning in Pokhara with optional sound bath, yoga, swim, or spa time. In the afternoon, we fly to Kathmandu and transfer to the ancient city of Bhaktapur, just outside of Kathmandu, for a self-guided walking tour, before our farewell dinner and late-night flights home.
